What are kits?

Kits supply a matched set of instruments in a single purchase rather than assembled item by item. The basic examination set — cotton pliers, mirror handle, mirror and a probe/explorer — is the standard four-instrument setup used at every routine examination, and buying it as a set is how most practices equip a new operatory or add a chair.

Choosing the right kit

A kit is the efficient way to bring a new operatory up to a working standard. Once the basics are in place, buy individually: the instruments a practice replaces most often are rarely the ones a kit bundles together.
