What are rubber dam frames & kits?

Frames hold the dam stretched and clear of the working field. Size is matched to the patient rather than the procedure — a 6" adult frame on a child holds tension against the face rather than the dam, and a 4" pedo frame on an adult will not span far enough to keep the sheet off the field.
