Mirror Handles

What are mirror handles?

Mirror handles are bought separately from mirror heads, which means the fitment has to match. Two thread standards are in use: cone socket, where the mirror seats on a tapered socket, and simple stem, a plain threaded stem. They are not interchangeable, and ordering the wrong one is the single most common mistake in this category.

How the mirror handles range is organised

Cone socket:
Round, octagon, deluxe cone socket, and the Elite round cone socket in 9.5mm.
Simple stem:
Round, octagon, deluxe simple stem, deluxe hexagonal.

Choosing the right mirror handle

Check which fitment your existing mirror heads use before ordering. Handle profile is ergonomics: octagonal and hexagonal resist rolling on a tray and give more positive rotational control, round is smoother in the fingers. Larger-diameter handles (9.5mm) reduce pinch grip force, which is worth considering for anyone working long hygiene lists.
