23 Explorer & 1 Probe - Solid Handle

Double-ended diagnostic instrument with a #23 shepherd's hook explorer on one end and a #1 periodontal probe on the other, so one instrument covers both a caries and margin check and a perio probing.

The #23 explorer's fine, curved tip gives tactile feedback for detecting caries, calculus and open margins around restorations. The millimeter-marked probe measures sulcus and pocket depth for charting.

Available with a Solid handle, an H6 9.5 mm hollow handle, or an H4 firm-grip hollow handle. The hollow handles are lighter and wider for less hand fatigue.

Also searched for as explorer probe combo, 23/1 explorer probe, double ended explorer or perio probe explorer.
