Olsen-Hegar needle holder used to securely grasp and drive suture needles during intraoral wound closure. The integrated scissors allow suture cutting without instrument exchange. Available in stainless steel, or with tungsten carbide jaw inserts that hold the needle securely and outlast standard stainless steel jaws; the tungsten carbide version has pure gold-coated handles, the standard mark of a tungsten carbide instrument.
