Non-sterile #2 medium cotton rolls used for intraoral isolation and moisture control during restorative, hygiene, and endodontic procedures. The tightly rolled cotton is highly absorbent, maintains shape when wet, and is placed in the buccal vestibule or under the tongue to isolate the operative field from saliva.
